Snowdon Inc. is a drug discovery and development company that is focused on three major therapeutic areas with substantial market potential: cancer, acute and chronic pain, and infectious diseases. These diseases and conditions cause immense suffering, economic hardship, and loss of life among millions of people every day. In each of these therapeutic areas, Snowdon has discovered prospective drug candidates that address the urgent need for safe and effective medicines.

Snowdon’s proven discovery platform is built for speed, economy, and maximum success rate. We employ a battery of proprietary computational tools to rapidly identify high-value molecules from our vast in silico library of vendor-available compounds, which can then be procured for initial biological “proof of concept” evaluation studies. Additional in silico filters ensure that selected molecules satisfy key benchmarks, including potent biological activity for the intended target, satisfactory ADME/Tox profile, oral bioavailability, and synthetic accessibility. Our approach enables rapid progression from “hit” to “lead” in the drug discovery process, and allows us to focus on only the most promising drug leads. The costly steps of structural optimization via medicinal chemistry and subsequent pre-clinical studies in animal models are reserved exclusively for molecules that already show promise as first-in-class or best-in-class therapeutics.

Drug discovery has traditionally been a slow and expensive process in which the failure rate remains very high.
